INSIGHIO brings to the local and international market “insigh.io”, an innovative horizontal hardware & software platform which facilitates the development of end-to-end IoT applications and services with a global geographical footprint. During 2024 and 2025, the development has been supported by Digital SME Programme II – Development of Digital Product & Services run by Information Society (ΚτΠ – https://digitalsme.gov.gr), in the context of Project 112056. The main of this support is to mature and enhance both technically and business-wise the solution, aiming at full commercial uptake. The project has a total budget of €238,500.00, and the public funding is €119,087.50

The proposed digital solution is a versatile service that simplifies and accelerates the implementation of new IoT projects from scratch. To do this it introduces a unique hardware and software technology stack which supports the design, development, PoC testing and upscaling of IoT applications, across diverse verticals. The business motivation for the product stems from the fact that IoT technology delivers substantial value across virtually all verticals. In agriculture, it optimizes farm processes; in industrial production, it facilitates automation and digitalization; and in infrastructure management, it enables effective monitoring of electrical grids and pipelines, among other applications. In this respect the IoT market has evolved beyond mere headlines, and today’s organizations no longer question whether to implement IoT, but rather how to do it effectively and overcome the associated hurdles. Still, IoT adopters encounter a number of challenges, with existing technologies failing on fast-track testing and upscaling, flexible designing, and ensuring connectivity in the most remote places. Insigh.io envisions to overcome these exact hurdles.

The value proposition of the insigh.io digital solution relies on the unique combination of hardware technologies with a software platform, transforming conventional IoT project implementation (system integration) to a fully managed end-to-end IoT service, rapidly developed, customized and deployed in challenging environments (farms, industrial machinery, large buildings, mining sites, etc.).

To make this possible, we have developed the right technology that abstracts the major difficulties and complexities in delivering integrated and plug-and-play IoT solutions.

The bundled service includes two key elements:

• the IoT connector, i.e. a modular hardware that turns sensors to intelligent end-points, empowered by universal connectivity, combining best in class wireless technologies;

• a Cloud platform orchestrating end-point management and data provisioning, empowered by a set of tools and interfaces for automating and consolidating the offered services.
